Hi, I’m Terry trafton.

As a Mental Health Expert, Emotional Energy Intelligence Catalyst, Wellbeing Strategist and Speaker, Terry works with businesses to support and educate leadership and employees to build a strong team and organizational culture with high psychological safety, resilience and mental health wellbeing.

Terry builds organizational health through one to one and team leadership training, coaching and consulting.  He also offers customized educational seminars that focus on operational effectiveness, strategic priorities, and employee engagement and productivity. Terry is certified to build employee resilience and wellbeing through person-centered, trauma-informed training.

Terry holds a license and certifications to build organizational engagement and employee resilience through appreciative inquiry, emotional energy intelligence, and is trained in trauma-informed culture transformation.  Terry works directly with people, leaders, teams and organizaitons to reduce burnout, retain talent, build amazing culture and great leaders.

With over 30 years of experience in professional settings including non-profits, behavioral health, healthcare, and range of businesses; Terry has a proven track record of building success.  Terry holds a National Certification and License as a Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.

Terry serves in various civic and community leadership roles as the President of the Missouri Mental Health Foundation Board of Directors. He is a Board Member of The Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare Foundation and the Governance Committee Chair of The Health Forward Foundation. He is also a member of the Kansas City Business Journal Leadership Trust.
